The Wicked Woman

“Give me any plague, but the plague of the heart: and any wickedness, but the wickedness of a woman.” (Eccles. 25:13)

“Of the woman came the beginning of sin, and through her we all die.” (Eccles. 25:22)

“If she go not as thou wouldest have her, cut her off from thy flesh, and give her a bill of divorce, and let her go.” (Eccles. 25: 26)

“The whoredom of a woman may be known in her haughty looks and eyelids. If thy daughter be shameless, keep her in straitly, lest she abuse herself through overmuch liberty.” (Eccles. 26:9-10)

“A silent and loving woman is a gift of the Lord: and there is nothing so much worth as a mind well instructed. A shamefaced and faithful woman is a double grace, and her continent mind cannot be valued.” (Eccles. 26:14-15)

“A shameless woman shall be counted as a dog; but she that is shamefaced will fear the Lord.” (Eccles.26:25)

“For from garments cometh a moth, and from women wickedness. Better is the churlishness of a man than a courteous woman, a woman, I say, which bringeth shame and reproach.” (Eccles. 42:13-14)

Jesus overcame Sin and Death

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.” (John 5:24)

“Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?” (John 11:25)

“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23)

“And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” (Revelation 21:3-4)

The Meaning of Following Jesus Christ

1. Accepting Jesus is not about afraid of hell, and also, not about want to go to heaven. Heaven is a gift from Jesus for people who follow Him.

2. Accepting Jesus Christ is about aligning our self, back to the truth. The truth is:

a. We all sinners, in the beginning, all of us, must go to hell, if we do, even a simple sin in our heart, BUT with God’s Grace and love, He want to save us, by sent His Son to Die, to replace our role for suffering in Hell, so the sins itself will never again become a blocker between God and Us. It is about aligned back to the truth, God Himself, the real God.

b. Sins will bring death to our spirit and body, slowly but sure.

3. To trust Jesus Christ, we need faith. Faith is to trust something, even when you know just a little about it. So, trust by faith not by your eyes.

4. To Keep your faith in Jesus more stronger, you cannot be a loner christian, you must join Christian groups (usually you can search this groups in church, just ask people there), which will make you more intimate with Jesus. There, you will get one best thing, that you can ask many things about the Bible and all doctrines which make you confuse.

5. Never Create your own doctrines about Christianity and Jesus, It is better to ask many Christians about your doctrines, so you can make sure that it is “right”. As I know, Jesus wants us to have the right view about Him.

As I know, it is better to have simple, but right doctrine about Jesus, here is a few I know:

a. You must accept Jesus Christ as your God and your Savior.

b. Following 10 Commandments in your life, not by strict mean, but by step-by-step-understanding-transformation. Following what Jesus Wants, that’s the point.

c. Read the Bible everyday. Learn from people’s mistakes in the Bible, and become wise from it.

d. Have a private time everyday (1 hour), to pray about our daily “unknown” and inadvertent sins to Jesus, to asking for help and forgiveness. And also, a private time to make your faith more strong in Jesus.

e. Put Jesus as your number one, let Him lead you, trust Him even it is hard for the first time.

f. To follow Jesus, we must stay humble and have non assuming attitude. Just follow where He takes you, what He want you to speak to, spontaneously and intuitively. But takes time because communication with Jesus directly need to practice and something like that.

g. Communication with Jesus is REAL. Try to communicate with Jesus, just like sharing your deepest emotion and deepest grievance. He will listen and know. He respect us too if we want to respect Him.

h. Beware of New Age, Hindu, Philosophy, and another source of knowledge, the Bible itself can be twisted as easy as you want, even satanist can use Bible to improve their faith to Lucifer. Why? Because they just see the Bible as a book. As a Christian we also need to ask the Real Christian about what we think true. That’s why I suggest you to join Christian Groups, it helps a lot. The point is to test and prove what we think is right. Stay foolish stay hunger in Jesus.

i. Know more about what Jesus said to human, just by finding many testimonials, from websites and Youtube (but beware of misdirection videos).

j. Spread also Jesus Message to the world, before it is too late. Start to improving your family faith, then to your best friends, and finally, to all people in the world. May Jesus Help and Bless you always.

Atheism is a religion

Atheism IS a religion. I know that some have made that statement without much evidence. And I know that atheists themselves heatedly deny it. I’ve heard their rejoinders: If atheism is a religion, then not playing baseball is a sport. Or, atheism is to religion what bald is to hair color. Clever. I guess I don’t blame them for denying it, but denying something doesn’t prove it is not there. (I would advise any atheist readers to re-read the previous sentence until BOTH meanings sink in.)
A religion doesn’t have to posit a god who must be identified or worshiped. Some religions are polytheistic (Hinduism, Mormonism), some monotheistic (Judaism, Christianity, Islam), some non-theistic (Buddhism). I’d say the new atheists and their religion are “anti-theistic.” But their atheism is religious nonetheless. Consider this:

They have their own worldview. Materialism (the view that the material world is all there is) is the lens through which atheists view the world. Far from being the open-minded, follow-the-evidence-wherever thinkers they claim to be, they interpret all data ONLY within the very narrow worldview of materialism. They are like a guy wearing dark sunglasses who chides all others for thinking the sun is out.

They have their own orthodoxy. Orthodoxy is a set of beliefs acceptable to a faith community. Just as there are orthodox Christian beliefs, there is an atheist orthodoxy as well. In brief, it is that EVERYTHING can be explained as the product of unintentional, undirected, purposeless evolution. No truth claim is acceptable if it cannot be subjected to scientific scrutiny.

They have their own brand of apostasy. Apostasy is to abandon one’s former religious faith. Antony Flew was for many years one of the world’s most prominent atheists. And then he did the unthinkable: he changed his mind. You can imagine the response of the “open-minded, tolerant” New Atheist movement. Flew was vilified. Richard Dawkins accused Flew of “tergiversation.” It’s a fancy word for apostasy. By their own admission, then, Flew abandoned their “faith.”

They have their own prophets: Nietzsche, Russell, Feuerbach, Lenin, Marx.

They have their own messiah: He is, of course, Charles Darwin. Darwin – in their view – drove the definitive stake through the heart of theism by providing a comprehensive explanation of life that never needs God as a cause or explanation. Daniel Dennett has even written a book seeking to define religious faith itself as merely an evolutionary development.

They have their own preachers and evangelists. And boy, are they “evangelistic.” Dawkins, Dennett, Harris, and Hitchens (Speaking of which, our prayers goes out to Christopher Hitchens in hopes of a speedy recovery for his cancer, we need more time with him Lord) are NOT out to ask that atheism be given respect. They are seeking converts. They are preaching a “gospel” calling for the end of theism.

They have faith. That’s right, faith. They would have you believe the opposite. Their writings ridicule faith, condemn faith. Harris’s book is called The End of Faith. But theirs is a faith-based enterprise. The existence of God cannot be proven or disproven. To deny it takes faith. Evolution has no explanation for why our universe is orderly, predictable, measurable. In fact (atheistic) evolutionary theory has no rational explanation for why there is such a thing as rational explanation. There is no accounting for the things they hope you won’t ask: Why do we have self-awareness? What makes us conscious? From what source is there a universal sense of right and wrong? They just take such unexplained things by … faith.

There are days when evil and suffering are hard to explain, even for the most ardent follower of God. There are questions we cannot answer. There are days when every honest Christian will admit doubt. But we don’t become atheists. It is because our soul JUST KNOWS that God is there. And maybe because atheism is a religion that requires too much untenable faith.

Not only is Atheism a religion, the entire premise is a negative proof fallacy.

The Return of the Lord Jesus Christ

The Return of the Lord Jesus Christ – Part 1

Jesus Christ will return for all those who are believers in Him.This is called the rapture of the Church. Remember the Church is all those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.

The word rapture means ”to catch up’, or to ‘transport from one place to another’. The rapture could happen anytime; today, tomorrow, next year. No one knows, but God.

Christians are supposed to be watching and waiting For Christ’s return.

Let’s look at some Bible verses that teach us about what we call the rapture or when Jesus returns for his church. “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words” (1Thessalonians 4:16-18).

First – “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God” -This verse teaches us that Jesus Christ Himself will return descending from heaven.

Second- “and the dead in Christ shall rise first” – Jesus will rise up the bodies of those who have already died that were believers in him. Anytime the Bible speaks about those who sleep or the dead in Christ, this means those who knew Jesus as their Lord and savior, but have already died.

Third- “Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord”. Christians who are alive at the time of Jesus Christ’s return, He will also rise up to be with him.

Those who have died and those who are alive will be caught up together in the clouds to meet Jesus Christ in the air, and will be with the Lord forever and ever. Millions of Christians will go to heaven without ever having to die! This is an awesome promise! These are words of comfort to those that know Jesus and are living for him.

Many people in the world today are living sad and lonely lives without any hope.

Christians have hope because the bible promises everlasting salvation for those who believe in Jesus Christ.

Many verses teach us as Christians to stay away from all things that are ungodly or sinful things that are not pleasing to God. We are to live are lives by putting Christ first in all that we do. We can only live a godly life by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit that we receive when we truly except Christ as our personal Lord and Savior.

This time of wrath is to bring judgment on all those who have rejected Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

The reason Jesus is coming back to rapture the church is to rescue or deliver His people from God’s judgment and wrath that will come upon the earth.

Many Christians believe that the rapture will happen before this great time of tribulation.

Looking for the blessed hope is the return of Jesus Christ for his church.

This hope is far more important than a million dollars or anything else in this life, because this hope leads to everlasting life with Jesus!

I encourage you to put Jesus first in your life and to live for him each day. Pray and read your Bible every day and ask God to help you understand it.

The things that you have learned through this study is the truth. This is what God’s word teaches. Always remember, that every word of the Bible is the truth, because it is the God of all creation’s word to us.

The Return of the Lord Jesus Christ – Part 2

In part one of our study on the return of the Lord Jesus Christ, we took a look at the rapture of the Church (1Thessalonians 4:14-18).

Jesus promised that He would return for those who believe in Him (John 14:1-3).

As a believer in Jesus Christ we are commanded to watch for His return because it could happen anytime. We are to live a life that would make Jesus proud of us.

Let’s take a look at what the book of Titus says about this.
Titus 2:11-13 say; “For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ”.

Lets look at each of these above verses in detail:
Verse 11 – “For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,” This is the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. To believe that Jesus died for our sins and then he was buried and rose from the dead. (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). Every person must believe in Him and accept Him as their Lord and Savior.

Verse 12 -“Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;” – This verse teaches us as Christians to stay away from all things ungodly (ungodly means anything that is not pleasing to God or does not have Him in it). We should live a godly life – this means to put Jesus Christ first in everything you do. We can only live this kind of life when we become a Christian. When we become a Christian we receive the Holy Spirit and He dwells in us and guides us. We must be obedient to Him.

Verse 13 – “Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ”. – Looking for the blessed hope is the return of Jesus Christ for His church (all those who believe in Him). This hope is far more important than a million dollars or anything in this life. Because this hope leads to everlasting life with Jesus!

Christians should always be looking for Him and praying to be accounted worthy. The greatest joy and blessing is to live each day for Jesus!

All believers should live a pure and obedient life. “Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he (Jesus) shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure” (1 John 3:2-3).

Every believer that has the hope that Jesus could return anytime will want to live a pure (a godly) life each day.

Who is Jesus Christ?

The Bible teaches that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and He is the one who created all things. Before He was born as a baby in the small town of Bethlehem, He was with God His Father in the glorious place called heaven.

On earth there was a need that could only be accomplished by God Himself. Man was separated from God because of sin. (Sin is when people do bad things; like kill, steal, cheat, lie, and hate; etc).

So Jesus Christ willingly left the beauty and joy of heaven to be born and in time died on the cross so mankind (every man, woman, boy and girl) could be forgiven from sin.

Jesus died one of the most cruel and horrible deaths ever imagined as He shed His blood on the cross.

This was the only way mankind could be forgiven and brought back into a relationship with a holy God.

Jesus was a man

Jesus was different than any other person, because He never committed a sin ( 2 Corinthians 5:21).

The reasons Jesus had to become a man were:

1). To make known God to man (John 1:18).
2). To be an example to mankind (1 Peter 2:21).
3). To bring deliverance, healing and salvation to all people (Luke 4:18).
4). To glorify or praise God His Father (John 14:13).

Mankind’s most important questions

1). Am I good enough to get to heaven?

Answer: NO! “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: (Romans 3:10); and For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; (Romans 3:23);

2). What is the penalty for my sins?

Answer: Hell!      “For the wages of sin is death (hell);”

Now the good news of the Gospel:
“but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” (Romans 6:23).

3). Will God Receive Me? Yes!!!

“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8);

4). How Can I Be Saved?

You can be saved by receiving this free gift from God. To receive a gift you first have to ask for it.

The Bible tells us: “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved”(Romans 10:13). God wants you to believe in him and call on his name. “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Romans 10:9-10).

5). HOW DO I RECEIVE THIS FREE GIFT?

You must ask Jesus to forgive you of your sins and to become yourLord and Savior. Making Jesus your Lord means that you put Him first in your life. Making Jesus your Savior , means that you believe that Jesus died, so you could be forgiven.

Below is a prayer that you may pray and ask Jesus to come into your heart and life. This is the true plan that God has for your life.

Lord God. I come to You a sinner and I humbly repent of my sins. I believe that Jesus is Lord and I believe You raised Him from the dead. I ask that Jesus will come into my life and be my Lord and Savior. I receive Jesus to change and take control of my life that I may live for Him from this day forth and from now on. Thank You Lord Jesus for saving me and cleansing me with Your precious blood. In Jesus name, Amen.

If you have called on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and have said that prayer or a prayer similar to it in your own words, and have believed it with all your heart, you are saved! Words mean nothing without belief. If we truly believe, we will let Christ change us, and we will rejoice to live for Him each and every day.

The True Gospel

A true preacher of the Lord Jesus Christ will believe and teach the following main truths. Not one of these can be neglected, or the minister can not be trusted.

1). The Bible must be believed – to be the only infallible Word of God and must be taught as truth. If it is taught as only partial truth and is not totally relied on as a whole, this teacher is a minister of unrighteousness and can not be trusted. (1 Timothy 3:16; 2 Pet. 1:21)

2). Belief in the Trinity – God is present in three distinct persons; God the Father, God the Son (Jesus), and God the Holy Spirit. (1 John 5:7).

3). Jesus must be worshiped and honored as both the Son of God and God. God alone is to be worshipped. Since Jesus is God, He is to be worshipped. Nothing else but God must ever be worshipped. (Phil 2:6-11; Luke 24:52)

4). The Doctrine of Jesus Christ: (all of the following must be believed)
a). Jesus Christ is God who became a man. (John 1:14)
b). His virgin birth. (Matthew 1:20-23; Luke 1:30-38)
c). His substitutionary death through the shedding of His precious blood on the Cross of Calvary. (Ephesians 1:7)
d). His bodily resurrection from the dead. (1 Corinthians 15:3-4)
e). Jesus ascension to heaven(Acts 1:9; Luke 24:51) and that He is now seated at the right hand of God the Father. (Hebrews 1:3).
f). His present ministry as High Priest and Advocate. (1 John 2:1)
g). His personal return as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.(Revelation 19:16)
h). He is head of the church and the Lord of all creation. (Colossians 1:16-18)

5). Jesus Christ must be taught as the only way of salvation to obtain eternal life. A person must accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior by faith. Nothing man can do will save them, (no works, confessions, special duties). Only by trusting in the blood that Jesus shed on the cross one can be saved. (Romans 3:25; John 14:6; 1 Timothy 2:5-6)
